【摘要】:Themeasurementofvehiculartraveledsurfacesusinganinstrumentedvehiclewithaninertialplaneofreferenceprovidesasatisfactorymethodforacquiringtraveledsurfaceprofiledata(1).Theprofiledatacanbeprocessedtoproduce,bysimulation,theoutputsofotherdevices.Thiscanbedoneonlineinrealtimeorcanbecomputedasapostprocess.Someofthedevicesthatcanbesimulatedincluderoadmeters(2),variousstraightedgedevices(3),profilographs,(4),aswellaspaversandgrinders.Comparisonsofvariousequipmentandtheirprofilecomputerprogramsaregiveninreference(5,6).Therawdataortheprofiledatacanalsoberecordedfordataprocessingatalatertimeandforanalysisbymorecomplexdataprocessingprocedures.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementandrecordingoftheprofileofvehicular-traveledsurfaceswithanaccelerometerestablishedinertialreferenceonaprofile-measuringvehicle.1.2Thetestmethodusesmeasurementofthedistancebetweenaninertialplaneofreferenceandthetraveledsurfacealongwiththeaccelerationoftheinertialplatformtodetectchangesinelevationofthesurfacealongthelengthbeingtraversedbytheinstrumentedvehicle.Inordertomeetaparticularclass,thetransducersshallmeetaccuracyrequirementsandthecalculatedprofileshallmeetthespecificationsofthatclass.1.3Thevaluesmeasuredrepresentafilteredprofilemeasuredfromamovingplaneofreferenceusingtheequipmentandproceduresstatedherein.Theprofilemeasurementsobtainedshouldagreewithactualelevationmeasurementsthataresubjectedtothesamefiltering.Selectionofproperfilteringallowstheusertoobtainsuitablewavelengthinformationfortheintendeddataprocessing.1.4ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionaryinformationisgiveninSection7.
