【摘要】:ThistestmethoddescribesthedeterminationoftheflashpointandfirepointofpetroleumproductsbyamanualClevelandopencupapparatusoranautomatedClevelandopencupapparatus.Note1-Theprecisionsforfirepointwerenotdeterminedinthecurrentinterlaboratoryprogram.Firepointisaparameterthatisnotcommonlyspecified,althoughinsomecases,knowledgeofthisflammabilitytemperaturemaybedesired.Thistestmethodisapplicabletoallpetroleumproductswithflashpointsabove79C(175F)andbelow400C(752F)exceptfueloils.Note2-Thistestmethodmayoccasionallybespecifiedforthedeterminationofthefirepointofafueloil.Forthedeterminationoftheflashpointsoffueloils,useTestMethodD93.TestMethodD93shouldalsobeusedwhenitisdesiredtodeterminethepossiblepresenceofsmall,butsignificant,concentrationsoflowerflashpointsubstancesthatmayescapedetectionbyTestMethodD92.TestMethodD1310canbeemployediftheflashpointisknowntobebelow79C(175F).ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,see6.4,7.1,11.1.3,and11.2.4.
